Josh Strickland

Josh has over 14 years of experience in the energy industry, specifically focusing on commercial development, marketing and optimization of natural gas storage. Josh’s focus with Black Bayou Energy Hub is to facilitate commercial development functions and lead optimization efforts.
Prior to joining Black Bayou Energy Hub, Josh was Manager of Commercial Development at Williams Companies, where he was responsible for leading the commercial development and optimization of eight market-based rate gas storage facilities located in the gulf coast region (Pine Prairie, Southern Pines, Worsham Steed, Hill Lake, Arcadia, Perryville, Monroe & Cadeville). Prior to Williams, Josh spent 2.5 years at Hartree Partners, where he was Director of Asset Optimization. At Hartree, Josh focused on commercial and optimization functions for Pine Prairie gas storage in Louisiana and Southern Pines gas storage in Mississippi. Prior to Hartree, Josh was at Plains All American Pipeline for 10 years and served in varying commercial roles, ultimately as Director of Asset Management for gas storage at the time of the group’s divestiture to Hartree Partners. Josh began his career in the finance group at Cameron International (now a Schlumberger company) in the subsea division. Josh holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
