LJ Anderson VP, Surface Engineering and Construction

LJ brings 30+ years of engineering, development, start-up and execution of complex energy infrastructure projects including numerous combined cycle gas generation projects as well as clean energy and natural gas storage developments. He has been on the development team for this project since summer 2025 and has been instrumental finalizing engineering deliverables and preparing for start of construction.

LJ previously served as VP of Engineering & Development at CCNG, Inc. for 8 years, responsible for oversight of technical development, engineering, permitting and financial modeling for large-scale infrastructure initiatives. Over that time, he spearheaded multiple high-value energy projects, including a $600M Natural Gas Liquids storage venture and a $1.1B Natural Gas cavern storage initiative, managing development, permitting, engineering, and financial planning.

Prior to joining CCNG, LJ spent the first 24 years of his career constructing combined cycle power plants and other complex process facilities across the United States, Canada and Holland. He worked as Project Executive, Project Manager, Start-up Manager and Engineering Manager for construction firms as well as owner’s representative for two major power generation companies.

LJ holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix.
